Lazaro Arbos, the last remaining male contestant in the twelfth season of "American Idol," has been eliminated from the competition, paving way for an all-girl Top 5.
Arbos' survival performance did not persuade the judges to use their only save vote this season.
"Lazaro, we love you, you've been a treasure to the show," Randy Jackson said, "but we're not going to use the save."
Joining the 22-year-old ice cream scooper from Naples, Florida in the bottom two was Texas native Amber Holcomb.
It is the very first time in "American Idol" history for the Top 5 to be comprised of all females, which will end the 5-year white male winning streak.
Next week, Holcomb, Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, and Candice Glover, will once again battle it out on stage. Who do you think will go home?
